Alison started singing at an early age at parties held by families and friends. It was clear then that she would have the confidence (and the voice) to perform in front of an audience. There was no stopping her- the lead soloist in junior school productions, the church choir, and entertaining in the church variety shows which all led on to her joining various other operatic societies to develop her soprano voice. This along with private classical training by Lorraine Daniels (ex D'0yle Carte) has produced a unique sounding soprano who has a very wide vocal range.
Alison studied at Wimbledon School of Art where she gained a diploma in 'Theatre'. She now sings wherever there is a requirement for that 'special sound or that 'special moment...e.g. Wedding services and receptions, funerals, birthdays, anniversaries etc.
Alison's preferred style of singing lies in opera, musicals and shows, though her large library of backing music allows her to cater for most tastes and styles of music
